SonarQube MCP Server

Overview

SonarQube MCP Server brings code quality and security analysis directly into your AI assistant. Connect to SonarQube Server or Cloud instances and let Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients analyze your codebase for bugs, vulnerabilities, and code smells as part of their reasoning process.

Run the server locally using the Docker image docker.io/sonarsource/sonarqube-mcp. You'll need a SONARQUBE_TOKEN environment variable with API key credentials to authenticate with your SonarQube instance. The latest release is v1.21.0, built and maintained by SonarSource on GitHub at SonarSource/sonarqube-mcp-server.
