Sidearm

Overview

Sidearm is a Model Context Protocol server that protects media from AI training, detects AI-generated content, and identifies stolen work. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Sidearm's tools directly within conversations and agent workflows, giving models the ability to verify content authenticity and protect intellectual property.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package @sidearmdrm/mcp, which communicates over stdio. Install it with npx -y @sidearmdrm/mcp. The current release is v0.9.2, published under the MIT license with source code available at sidearmDRM/mcp-server on GitHub. You'll need an API key to authenticate.
