Overview

Semantic API is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Search and discover any API using natural language. 163+ providers with auto-discovery. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Semantic API as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the Python package semanticapi-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need SEMANTIC_API_KEY. The current release is v0.1.2.
