Secure Schema MCP

Overview

Secure Schema MCP is a read-only Model Context Protocol server that exposes database schema metadata without accessing row data. It lets AI assistants query your database structure directly through MCP-compatible tools, eliminating manual copying between applications.

The server runs locally via the mcp-secure-schema package, installed with uvx mcp-secure-schema. You'll need to set the DATABASE_URL environment variable and provide an API Key for authentication. Version v1.0.1 is available now under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code at Siddharth-coder13/secure_schema_mcp on GitHub.
