Overview

Search Mcp Registry is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you search and discover MCP servers directly from the MCP Registry. Instead of browsing manually, AI assistants can query the registry as callable tools, making it easier to find and explore available servers.

The server runs locally on your machine via the command uvx search-mcp-registry. It requires no authentication and needs no external credentials to operate. The latest release is v0.1.4, and you can find the source code at OnticX/search-mcp-registry on GitHub.
