Safehold

Overview

Safehold is a Model Context Protocol server that provides a local, encrypted vault for storing passports, IDs, visas, and photos. It integrates directly into AI assistants as callable tools, giving you secure access to your identity documents through natural language requests while maintaining complete control over who can access them.

The server runs entirely on your local machine using the npm package safehold, communicating over stdio with no authentication required. Install it with npx -y safehold. The latest release is v1.2.0, published under the MIT license with source code available at Spacetime-Technology/safehold on GitHub.
