Safe Fetch

Overview

Safe Fetch is a Model Context Protocol server that fetches URLs while protecting against SSRF, DNS rebinding, and redirect-to-internal attacks. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Safe Fetch's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package safe-fetch-mcp-server, communicating over stdio. No credentials are required—it works immediately after installation. The latest release is v0.1.3, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at Sanoy24/safe-fetch-mcp-server on GitHub.
