RTL Lint MCP

Overview

RTL Lint MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Lint Verilog and SystemVerilog files and projects with structured diagnostics. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call RTL Lint MCP's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Python package rtl-lint-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need RTL_LINT_ALLOWED_ROOTS. The current release is v0.2.0.
