Overview

rmbr is a Model Context Protocol server that brings embedded, local-first memory and retrieval directly to AI agents. It stores everything in a single SQLite file with no external server or API key required, letting your AI assistant build and search persistent memory as it works.

The server runs entirely on your machine using the Python package rmbr, installed via uvx rmbr. It communicates with your AI client over standard input and output, requiring no authentication or credentials.
