Renforge

Overview

Renforge is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you inspect, drive and debug running Ren'Py games directly from your AI assistant. It exposes tools for examining game state, capturing screenshots, executing guarded clicks, managing saves, and handling builds—giving any MCP-compatible AI the ability to interact with and understand your game as it runs.

Renforge runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx renforge, communicating with your MCP client over stdio. No authentication or external credentials are needed; it works immediately after installation.
