Reins

Overview

Reins is a Model Context Protocol server that enforces risk limits and maintains an audit log for AI agents trading on Hyperliquid. It operates as an external safety layer, keeping position sizes and daily losses within configured boundaries while logging all trading activity for compliance and review.

The server runs locally via the npm package @r2rlabs/reins, installed with npx -y @r2rlabs/reins. You'll configure it using three environment variables: REINS_SYMBOLS to specify tradable assets, REINS_MAX_POSITION_USD to set maximum position size, and REINS_DAILY_LOSS_USD to define daily loss limits. The current release is v0.1.5, available on npm.
