Red Hat Lightspeed MCP

Overview

Red Hat Lightspeed MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Red Hat Lightspeed capabilities — including advisor, image builder, and inventory tools — directly into your MCP-compatible AI assistant. Any supported client can call these tools automatically, letting the model decide when to apply them during conversations or agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the Docker image ghcr.io/redhatinsights/red-hat-lightspeed-mcp, communicating over stdio. You'll need to provide LIGHTSPEED_CLIENT_ID and LIGHTSPEED_CLIENT_SECRET as environment variables for authentication.
