Rechtspraak (Dutch Case Law)

Overview

Rechtspraak is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Dutch case law directly into your AI assistant. Search and retrieve legal decisions by ECLI identifier using data from Rechtspraak Open Data and LiDO. Any MCP-compatible client can call the server's tools in conversations and agent workflows.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package rechtspraak-mcp, which communicates over stdio. No authentication is required. Install with npx -y rechtspraak-mcp. The current release is v0.0.1, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at Prudai/rechtspraak-mcp on GitHub.
