Recall

Overview

Recall is an open-source MCP memory server that provides persistent, searchable, tiered memory across sessions. It enables AI assistants to access and manage memory as callable tools rather than requiring manual copy-pasting between applications.

The server runs locally via the Python package ai-recallworks, installed with uvx ai-recallworks. No authentication is required—it operates out of the box by speaking MCP over stdio on your machine. Recall is released under the MIT license at version v0.5.2, with source code available at RecallWorks/Recall on GitHub.
