QuickBooks Online MCP Server

Overview

QuickBooks Online MCP Server connects your accounting workflows to AI assistants through the Model Context Protocol. It exposes invoices, customers, and payments as tools your AI can use, secured with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE authentication for safe, token-based access to your QuickBooks Online account.

The server runs locally on your machine as a Python package installed via uvx mcp-quickbooks. It communicates over stdio and HTTP, requiring only QBO_CLIENT_ID and QBO_CLIENT_SECRET environment variables for setup. Version v0.1.0 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at amin-ale/mcp-quickbooks on GitHub.
