Overview

QuickBooks Online is a Model Context Protocol server that connects your MCP-compatible AI assistant directly to QuickBooks Online data. It exposes tools for managing accounts, customers, invoices, bills, and generating reports — letting Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients automate accounting workflows in real time.

The server runs locally via Docker using the image ghcr.io/wyre-ai/qbo-mcp:v1.6.5. You'll need to provide QuickBooks API credentials as environment variables: QBO_CLIENT_ID, QBO_CLIENT_SECRET, and QBO_REFRESH_TOKEN. Version v1.6.5 is released under the Apache-2.0 license with source code available at WYRE-AI/qbo-mcp on GitHub.
