Pylos Mcp

Overview

Pylos Mcp is a read-focused email server for the Model Context Protocol, built to work with any IMAP provider while hardening against prompt injection attacks. Instead of copying emails between applications, AI assistants can use Pylos Mcp as callable tools to access and read your email directly.

The server runs locally via the npm package pylos-mcp, communicating over stdio on your machine. Install it with npx -y pylos-mcp and configure it using the EMAIL_USER environment variable along with your API key credentials. Version v0.1.1 is published under the MIT license with source code available at adamVass/pylos-mcp on GitHub.
