Pulse Subregistry

Overview

Pulse Subregistry is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server providing access to the PulseMCP Sub-Registry for browsing and discovering MCP servers. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Pulse Subregistry's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @pulsemcp/pulse-subregistry speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need PULSEMCP_SUBREGISTRY_API_KEY. The current release is v0.0.8, published under the MIT license, with source at pulsemcp/mcp-servers on GitHub, where it has earned 80 stars.
