Proxmox VE MCP Server

Overview

Proxmox VE MCP Server enables you to manage Proxmox VE infrastructure through AI assistants via the Model Context Protocol. Instead of switching between tools, your AI assistant can interact with Proxmox VE as callable functions, automating virtual machine and container operations.

The server runs locally as an npm package. Install it with npx -y @samik081/mcp-pve and configure it using three environment variables: PVE_BASE_URL, PVE_TOKEN_ID, and PVE_TOKEN_SECRET for API key authentication. Version v0.8.0 is available under the MIT license, with source code at Samik081/mcp-pve on GitHub where the project has 20 stars.
