Overview

projectmind is a Model Context Protocol server that maintains persistent memory of your project, condensing repository context into a single compact digest. Instead of re-reading the entire codebase each time, AI coding agents can quickly access what matters most, dramatically reducing token overhead and keeping conversations focused.

The server runs locally as an npm package. Install it with npx -y @nodemint/projectmind and it communicates with your AI assistant over the Model Context Protocol via stdio. No authentication or external credentials needed—it works immediately after installation. The latest release is v0.6.0, published under the MIT license with source code available at Nodemint-dev/projectmind on GitHub.
