Overview

Portproof is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you proxy traffic by the gigabyte across shared mobile 4G/5G and residential pools, with payments processed in crypto. By integrating with MCP, AI assistants gain direct access to Portproof's capabilities as callable tools, eliminating the need to switch between applications.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package @portproof/mcp, which communicates over stdio using the Model Context Protocol. It requires an API key for authentication and is currently available at version v0.2.1. Installation is as simple as running npx -y @portproof/mcp.
