Pondlog Ebird

Overview

Pondlog Ebird is an MCP server that connects you to the eBird API v2 through 21 tools for bird observation data. Access observations, hotspots, checklists, and taxonomy information directly from your AI assistant, letting Claude, Cursor, or other MCP clients query eBird on your behalf as you work.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package @pondlog/mcp-ebird. Simply install with npx -y @pondlog/mcp-ebird and you're ready to go—no authentication required. Version v0.1.5 is available under the MIT license, with source code at andrewschristison/pondlog on GitHub.

Pondlog Ebird sits in the Development category on mcp.site and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this project, claim your listing to verify ownership and keep it up to date.
