Overview

Plist Drift Detector is a Model Context Protocol server that monitors system configuration drift by comparing loaded launchd labels from launchctl list against source-of-truth plists in your config directory every 6 hours. It exposes this drift detection as tools your AI assistant can invoke, helping you catch unintended changes to system launch configurations.

The server runs locally with no authentication required and works out of the box. Version v0.1.0 is available under the MIT license, with source code hosted at dailyaiagents-cpu/dailyai-os on GitHub.

Plist Drift Detector is listed in the Development category and integrates with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim this listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
