Planka

Overview

Planka is an MCP server that brings full CRUD operations for PLANKA kanban boards into any MCP-compatible AI assistant. You can create, read, update, and delete cards, tasks, comments, and labels directly through your AI tool, letting the model decide when and how to interact with your board during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package @gogogadgetbytes/planka-mcp, communicating over stdio. Install it with npx -y @gogogadgetbytes/planka-mcp and configure three environment variables: PLANKA_BASE_URL, PLANKA_AGENT_EMAIL, and PLANKA_AGENT_PASSWORD. Version 1.0.0 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at gogogadgetbytes/planka-mcp on GitHub.
