Overview

Photo Organizer is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: AI-powered organization for Google Photos and Drive - auto-organize, find duplicates, create albums. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Photo Organizer's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package photo-organizer-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need PHOTO_SCRIPTS_PATH. The current release is v1.0.0, published under the MIT license, with source at ExpertVagabond/photo-organizer-mcp on GitHub.
