Overview

Permits is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: SF Peninsula building permits and parcel buildability: SB 9, ADU and redevelopment leads. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Permits's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package addressintel-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v1.1.2, published under the MIT license, with source at RantumBits/addressintel-mcp on GitHub.
