Overview

Papex is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you prepare private research drafts for review and access public Papex records directly from your AI assistant. By exposing Papex functionality as tools, it enables seamless integration between your research workflow and AI-powered development environments.

The server runs locally as an npm package. Install it with npx -y @papexlabs/mcp, which communicates over stdio on your machine. Authentication uses an API key. The latest release is v0.7.3. Visit papex.org for more information.

Papex appears in the Development category on mcp.site and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain Papex, claim this listing to verify ownership, earn the Verified badge, and keep information current.
