Outlook is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Outlook integration with OAuth, message search, batch operations, and calendar management. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Outlook's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @mcp-z/mcp-outlook speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need MS_CLIENT_ID, MS_TENANT_ID. The current release is v1.1.1.
