Orion

Overview

Orion is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Build and operate declarative REST/Kafka services on Orion: 58 tools over the full admin API. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Docker image ghcr.io/goplasmatic/orion-cli:1.1.0 speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need ORION_SERVER_URL. The current release is v1.1.0, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at GoPlasmatic/Orion on GitHub.
