Openroad Mcp

Overview

Openroad Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that brings interactive EDA sessions directly into AI assistants. It exposes OpenROAD's chip design and ASIC tools as functions that Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can invoke on your behalf.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package openroad-mcp, communicating over stdio. No authentication is required—install with npx -y openroad-mcp and start using it immediately.
