OpenOSINT

Overview

OpenOSINT is an AI-powered OSINT agent and MCP server that brings 16 open-source intelligence tools directly into your AI workflow. It includes email lookup, breach database search, IP reconnaissance, WHOIS queries, DNS resolution, Shodan integration, GitHub scanning, and more—all callable as tools through the Model Context Protocol.

The server runs locally on your machine via the openosint package using uvx. It communicates with your AI assistant over stdio and requires only the ANTHROPIC_API_KEY environment variable for authentication. Version v2.27.0 is available under the MIT license with full source code at OpenOSINT/OpenOSINT on GitHub, where the project has attracted 1500 stars.
