Overview

Open & Async is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Draft decision docs, turn meetings into async artifacts, and triage sync vs async in your editor. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Open & Async's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @open-and-async/mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v1.0.1, with source at open-and-async/mcp on GitHub, where it has earned 45 stars.
