Onsense

Overview

Onsense is a Model Context Protocol server that gives any MCP client direct access to your Android phone's camera, sensors, and files—all running locally without cloud uploads or Android Debug Bridge. Instead of manually transferring data between devices, AI assistants can call Onsense as a native tool to capture photos, read sensor data, and browse your phone's file system in real time.

The server runs on your machine via the Python package onsense, installed with uvx onsense. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication or API keys—just plug it in and start using it. The latest release is v0.3.20, available under the MIT license from hufirst/onsense on GitHub.
