OctoCounts MCP Server

Overview

OctoCounts MCP Server lets you analyze and compare public GitHub repository line counts directly from your MCP client. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call its tools to measure source lines of code (SLOC) across repos, helping you understand codebase size and complexity without leaving your workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package octocounts-mcp, which speaks MCP over stdio. No authentication is needed — just install and go. Version v0.1.1 is available now under the MIT license, with source code hosted at huanglizhuo/OctoCounts on GitHub.
