Overview

Obsidian Sync Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI agents direct access to your Obsidian vault through local files or Self-hosted LiveSync. Instead of manually copying content between applications, your AI assistant can read and work with your notes as callable tools integrated into its workflow.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package obsidian-sync-mcp, communicating over stdio. Install it with npx -y obsidian-sync-mcp. Authentication uses an API key.
