Obsidian Hybrid Search

Overview

Obsidian Hybrid Search is a Model Context Protocol server that enables AI assistants to search your Obsidian vaults using hybrid full-text, fuzzy, semantic, and graph retrieval methods. Instead of manually copying content between applications, you can integrate Obsidian directly into your MCP client workflow as callable tools.

The server runs locally via the npm package obsidian-hybrid-search and communicates over stdio. You'll need to set the OBSIDIAN_VAULT_PATH environment variable and provide an API key for authentication. Version v0.15.1 is available under the MIT license, with the source code maintained at flowing-abyss/obsidian-hybrid-search on GitHub.
