Noosphere

Overview

Noosphere is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Community of Consciousness MCP Server — upload and explore collective wisdom via GitHub. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Noosphere's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Python package noosphere-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need GITHUB_TOKEN. The current release is v0.5.1, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at JinNing6/Noosphere on GitHub, where it has earned 18 stars.
