Nexus

Overview

Nexus is an MCP server that lets you query Sonatype Nexus Repository (OSS and Pro editions) for Maven, Python, and Docker artifacts. Instead of switching between tools, your AI assistant can search and retrieve artifact metadata directly through callable MCP tools.

It runs locally on your machine as a Python package. Install via uvx nexus-mcp-server, then point it at your Nexus instance with the NEXUS_BASE_URL environment variable and authenticate using an API key. The latest release is v0.1.1, available at addozhang/nexus-mcp-server on GitHub.
