Nel Veil

Overview

Nel Veil is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that performs free passive security scanning for any domain. It checks DMARC configuration, TLS certificates, HTTP headers, and exposes security vulnerabilities without requiring active probing. As an MCP server, it integrates directly into AI assistants as tools that Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other compatible clients can invoke automatically.

Nel Veil runs locally on your machine via the npm package nel-veil-mcp, communicating over stdio with no authentication required. It works immediately after installation with npx -y nel-veil-mcp. The project is released under the MIT license at version v0.1.5, with source code available at NELPROINC/nel-veil-mcp on GitHub.
