Overview

Mtg Oracle is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Magic: The Gathering card data, rules, combos, and Commander intelligence to your AI assistant. Instead of switching between tools and copy-pasting, you can ask Claude or other MCP clients to look up cards, check legality, explore synergies, and build strategies—all through natural conversation.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package mtg-oracle, which communicates with your MCP client over stdio. Installation is simple: just run npx -y mtg-oracle.
