Overview

Mssql Writer is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server for Microsoft SQL Server — read and data write operations, no DDL. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package @connorbritain/mssql-mcp-writer speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.3.1.
