Modulor

Overview

Modulor is an agent-native CAD server that lets AI assistants draw plans, model 3D geometry, render checks, and export to DXF, SVG, STL, GLB, and IFC formats. It can also import DXF files. As a Model Context Protocol server, Modulor exposes its CAD tools directly to AI models, enabling them to design and iterate programmatically.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package modulor, installed with uvx modulor. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication or external credentials to get started. Modulor is MIT-licensed and maintained at bcllcc/modulor on GitHub.
