Mitos

Overview

Mitos is a Model Context Protocol server that stores architectural decisions as markdown for human reading and as a knowledge graph for AI agents. It brings decision record management into LLM-native workflows, letting Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI assistants query and reason over your architecture choices directly.

The server runs locally on your machine using the mitos-adr Python package, installed via uvx mitos-adr. It requires no credentials and works immediately after setup. Mitos is published as v0.17.2 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code and development tracked at dovahkiin-v/mitos on GitHub.
