Mit Dining

Overview

Mit Dining is a Model Context Protocol server that surfaces real-time menus from all six MIT dining halls with built-in dietary filtering. Instead of toggling between apps to check what's being served, you can query dining information directly from your AI assistant as callable tools.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package mit-dining-mcp, installed with npx -y mit-dining-mcp. It needs no credentials and works out of the box, communicating over stdio. The latest release is v1.0.1, published from the hongnoul/mit-dining-mcp repository on GitHub.

Mit Dining is listed in the Development category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim the listing to verify your ownership and keep the information accurate.
