Overview

Meta Ads is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads: 34 read tools and 10 write tools that preview first. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Meta Ads's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package @getmcpads/meta-ads-mcp-server speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need META_ACCESS_TOKEN. The current release is v1.0.2, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at getmcpads-com/meta-ads-mcp-server on GitHub.
