Memoir

Overview

Memoir is a Model Context Protocol server that provides persistent memory for AI coding tools, retaining information across sessions and machines. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Memoir's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

Memoir runs locally via the npm package memoir-cli, which communicates with MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required—it works out of the box. The latest release is v3.2.2, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at camgitt/memoir on GitHub, where the project has 14 stars.
