Memoir

Overview

Memoir is a Model Context Protocol server that provides structured session journals for AI agents, enabling persistent memory across multiple sessions. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Memoir's tools directly, letting the model decide when to access or update session records during conversations or agent runs.

It runs locally on your machine via the npm package memoir-mcp, which communicates over stdio without requiring any credentials or external services. Install it with npx -y memoir-mcp. The current release is v1.0.3, published under the MIT license with source code available at bighippoman/memoir-mcp on GitHub.
