Overview

mcpwall is a Model Context Protocol server that acts as a firewall for MCP tool calls. It blocks dangerous operations, scans for secrets in requests and responses, and logs all activity to help you monitor and secure your AI workflows.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package mcpwall, communicating over stdio without requiring any credentials or external authentication. It installs instantly with npx -y mcpwall and is currently at version v0.1.2, with source code available at behrensd/mcp-firewall on GitHub.
