MCPVault

Overview

MCPVault is an MCP server that lets you search evidence-labelled MCP servers with freshness, install, compatibility and verification data. Instead of manually looking up server details across multiple sources, AI assistants can call MCPVault as a set of tools to find and evaluate servers programmatically.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package mcpvault-mcp, which communicates over stdio using the Model Context Protocol. No credentials or authentication are required—just install and go. MCPVault is published under the MIT license at version v0.2.2, with source code available at coburn2716/mcpvault-mcp on GitHub.
