Mcp Victoriatraces

Overview

Mcp Victoriatraces is an MCP server that connects your AI assistant directly to the VictoriaTraces API and documentation. Instead of manually switching between tools, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can now query traces, explore observability data, and integrate tracing insights into their workflows as callable tools.

The server runs locally via Docker using the image ghcr.io/victoriametrics-community/mcp-victoriatraces:1.5.0. Setup requires two environment variables: VT_INSTANCE_ENTRYPOINT and VT_INSTANCE_BEARER_TOKEN for API authentication. Version 1.5.0 is published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code maintained at VictoriaMetrics-Community/mcp-victoriatraces on GitHub.
